Voice Mail
Our home phone number is one digit off from a national hearing aid foundation/company. Occasionally, we get phone calls from people who can't hear, looking for information on their hearing aids. Most of the time, we get their voice mails: they can't hear the message, I'm assuming, that says who we are. Here's a message left for us this morning:I want to call back and say, "Sir, you're supposed to be hearing those beeps throughout the day. They're connected to your pacemaker, so if you're only hearing one or two beeps per day, we suggest that you quickly call your cardiologist. If that's not the problem, it's probably the batteries. Thanks for calling."
